Hello Confirmation students and parents-
Please see the attached service opportunity that has been sent to me from the Petermann's (they are coordinating the parish Children's Christmas Party).
Approximately 15-20 volunteers are needed to work at the Christmas Party. This is a fun activity and a great way to earn a large block of service hours. Students are welcome and encouraged to come support the Christmas Party even if they have already earned all of their service hours. This party is a huge activity and many hands are needed to carry it off. Please sign up to help if you can.
To sign up to work at the Christmas Party please email the Petermann's directly (see the attached email below) and copy Cyndy Glasscock on that email so that we all know who is signing up to help.
Also- there are a couple of additional service opportunities that have been sent to me. They are as follows:
1. Paint the new fence/gate at the entrance to the church gravel parking lot(off of Frances Meeks) this Friday, November 11th. (no school that day)- All supplies/materials will be provided.
Only a couple of students will be needed for this project. A parent MUST be able to accompany and work with any students who sign up for the painting project.
2. Assist with set-up and food service at the the CYM Pancake Breakfast on Friday, December 2nd 5:30-7:30 pm (set-up) & Saturday, December 3rd 6:00-9:30 am (food service/clean-up)
This service opportunity is open to several students. The breakfast is on the morning of the RH Christmas parade and is very poplular. If you have specific questions please call Dawn Thomas at
