Important Meeting for Ushers and Greeters - February 11th and 12th:

Because St. Anne's Parish Church is growing, we welcome many new families every weekend, Men and women greeters facilitate the gathering of the members of the Christian community by offering a smile and words of welcome as people arrive for liturgy, meetings or special events. Ushers are the ones who give out books and bulletins, show folks to their seats and take up collections. When ushers and greeters serve the community well, the Body of Christ is already manifest in the unity of welcoming and hospitality, before a word of formal worship is spoken or a hymn of praise is sung.

We are in need of many new adult men and women ushers and greeters for all the Masses. Sister Mary Ann and Father Joe will meet all ushers and greeters during the weekend of February 11th and 12th after each Mass. The meeting will provide not only practical information, but also excellent history and theology of the Ushers and Greeters as well as emphasis on ongoing spiritual preparation and formation for Ushers and Greeters. This is a mandatory meeting for all presently recognized adult Ushers and Greeters as well as new Ushers and Greeters.

Pray and ask God if you should use your gifts and talents to make St. Anne's a "Welcoming Church."  If so, please attend the meetings scheduled for the weekend of February 11th and 12th.
