Over the past ten years, our parish family has doubled in size to nearly 850 registered families and is projected to continue to grow at this pace for the foreseeable future. Because of our growth, we are approaching the limits of available space for worship and the space we need to educate our children in the teachings of our Catholic faith, prepare them to take the Sacraments, and share our faith in Christ.
Plans are currently underway to build a new St. Anne Church on the property adjacent to Holy Family Hall. The building preliminary design was completed last August, and when built, will have a footprint of 21,000 square feet, and comfortably seat more than 900 parishioners for Mass. Holy Family Hall, where we now celebrate 11:00 am Mass every Sunday will then be used for it's intended purpose to serve as a social hall, classroom space for religious education, and house our parish office. Our existing St. Anne Church will continue to serve as a Chapel, for weddings, and special occasion services when needed.
Building our new church is a dream we share, and strive to bring to reality for the benefit of our parishioner families, and the generations that follow us, who will share our faith in Christ.
As with any endeavor of this size and scope, this project cannot be achieved without the support of our entire parish community. It will take time, patience, hard work, and a financial commitment, but most importantly, it will take our prayers to accomplish this dream.
We pray that the Holy Spirit will bless our efforts, grant us the wisdom and fortitude we need to do His will, and guide us in our mission to continue to build our community of faith.
