RCIA... Is it for you?

 

The Catholic Church invites you, and those you invite, to come and see.

Consider the following questions:

 
†    Are you interested in becoming Catholic?


           †    Are you a baptized Catholic but have yet to receive

                           the Sacraments of Holy  Eucharist or Confirmation?


        †    Have you been baptized into another Christian    

                            religious yet possess the desire to become a Catholic?

 

If you have answered YES to any of these questions,  the                    
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS is for you.

RCIA is a loving and learning journey in which a conversion of heart will bring you to a deep relationship with Jesus Christ,

our Lord and Savior.

RCIA begins on Monday, September 12th from 7:00-8:30 pm

Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC), Teens, and Adults (RCIT, RCIA):

RCIC- (Enrollment by invitation from the Pastor only):
This program is for older children/teens who have not received all or some of the Sacraments of Initiation, including Baptism and First Communion.

RCIT- (
Enrollment by invitation from the Pastor only):
This program is for teens (high school aged and older) who have not received all or some of the Sacraments of Initiation, including Baptism , First Communion, and Confirmation.

RCIA - (Open enrollment):
This program is for adults who have not received all or some of the Sacraments of Initiation, including Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. This program also welcomes people of other faith traditions to explore the process of conversion and full Communion in the Catholic faith. Additionally, adult Catholics who wish to learn more about their faith are invited to attend this program.  Please contact the parish office at (912) 756-3343 for more information.

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS:
 
We are currently developing a program for children who have learning disabilities and may have not been included in a traditional parish religious education programs.    The goal of this program will be acquaint these children with their Catholic faith and when possible, prepare and introduce them to the traditional sacraments of the Church.  Please contact the parish office (912) 756-3343 for more information regarding this program.
