Anointing offers a renewed trust in the Holy Spirit and strength against anxiety and fear. At times, even physical health is restored. Through this sacrament, the we recognize our journey toward the reign of God in fostering the virtues of faith and hope.
This sacrament is encouraged for those who are ill, planning surgery, or for those advanced in age. Arrangements should be made by contacting Father Smith, or our parish office for a visit to administer the sacrament. It is also most important not to wait for immediate danger of death.
