Confirmation:

The St Anne Confirmation liturgy will take place on

Thursday, March 29th at 7:00 pm in Holy Family Hall.

Please pray for our parish Candidates over the coming weeks

as they begin their final phase of preparation for this

beautiful sacrament of Initiation.

Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the sacraments of Christian initiation. The reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace.

By the sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed
.

During this exciting time, young people often find they have many questions about their faith and life’s choices.   Confirmation provides a time to explore one's Catholic identity, and what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.   We look forward to working with all of our students and sponsors.
